Uranium price surge: It’s all bull
When mining magnate and billionaire investor Tim Goyder spoke to Mining.com.au at Resources Rising Stars in May 2023 he was clear on his stance regarding uranium.
“I’m a uranium bull,” he had told this news service on the sidelines of the Brisbane event.
At the time, the spot price of uranium had only just trickled over US$50 per pound.
The uranium market by that stage was strengthening during Q2 2023, with the spot price increasing from US$50.35 per pound to US$56.20/lb, peaking at US$57.75/lb.Then in December 2023, an equally bullish Terra Uranium (ASX:T92) Executive Chairman Andrew Vigar told Mining.com.au that the price of the heavy metal was on its way to again hitting US$100.When Vigar sat down for a wide-ranging interview at the end of last year, the price was about US$86/lb, which by then was a 56% jump in the spot price year-to-date.Terra Uranium’s Executive Chairman’s comments have since proven […]
Fortune Bay acquires Spruce uranium project in Saskatchewan
TSX-V-listed exploration and development company Fortune Bay has acquired the Spruce uranium project in the north-central margin of the Athabasca basin, near the community of Fond du Lac, in Saskatchewan, through staking over the past several months.

The GRSZ is significantly underexplored relative to other major, basin-margin structural corridors that have yielded significant basement-hosted uranium discoveries. Historical surface uranium shows 1.60% uranium oxide (U 3 O 8 ) and 0.65% U 3 O 8 from limited prospecting.
There is also additional rare earth element (REE) potential, including historical surface REE showings of 3.13% total rare earth element (TREE), 1.23% TREE, 0.88% TREE and 0.85% […]

Here’s Why We’re Not Too Worried About Elevate Uranium’s (ASX:EL8) Cash Burn Situation
Source: Shutterstock Even when a business is losing money, it’s possible for shareholders to make money if they buy a good business at the right price. For example, biotech and mining exploration companies often lose money for years before finding success with a new treatment or mineral discovery. But while the successes are well known, investors should not ignore the very many unprofitable companies that simply burn through all their cash and collapse.
So, the natural question for Elevate Uranium ( ASX:EL8 ) shareholders is whether they should be concerned by its rate of cash burn. In this report, we will consider the company’s annual negative free cash flow, henceforth referring to it as the ‘cash burn’. First, we’ll determine its cash runway by comparing its cash burn with its cash reserves.

Below are the key highlights from the report , written by CEO John Ciampaglia. The resurgence of nuclear The nuclear sector’s journey from oblivion to center stage by 2023 was nothing short of dramatic. At COP26 in 2021, governments began to acknowledge nuclear power as a […]
